Southern Wall of
Surveyor Crater

The point where the two prominent craters on the southern wall meet is about 190 meters from the LM.  The crater closest to the rim is the larger of the two.  It is similar in size to Block Crater, which Pete and Al will visit on the way back to the LM at the end of EVA-2.  Like Block Crater, the upper crater appears to have dug up bedrock.
