Shallow Slope

Surveyor Crater is relatively old.  When it was young, it had a raised rim  6 - 7 meters high; but that has long since been worn down by a relentless, slow rain of small impactors.  When it was young, Surveyor Crater was about 35 meters deep; but the interior has been long been filling with ejecta from impacts near and far.  It is now only about 15 meters deep.  Where once the interior slope was 20 - 25 degrees, they are now about 9 - 10 degrees.
