"I'm originally from New Jersey, spent about a year living in south Florida, and now reside in central Connecticut. I'm a financial manager by profession, and an instrument-rated private pilot as a hobby. I've been married almost four years to Chuck, an aerospace engineer, and fellow pilot and space enthusiast. We're hoping to be the proud owners of an airplane soon.
"I've been a huge fan of all things space related for as long as I can remember, but especially the manned space program. I used to look at the moon and the rings around Jupiter and Saturn from my telescope when I was growing up. I'm still fascinated by the moon, as well as the moonshot program of several decades ago. My husband was actually at the Apollo 11 launch, watching from Titusville as a small boy, but my first live launch was last year, watching the shuttle lift off from Jetty Park while we were still living in Florida. I hope it was the first of many to come."
