I was a kid/teenager during the Gemini and Apollo missions and I watched every one on TV. There was nothing I wanted to do more than be astronaut when I was a kid. Unfortunately, my health and other circumstances conspired against me. Nevertheless, I have maintained to this day an avid interest in manned space travel (I am a regular viewer of NASA TV and track all shuttle missions).

I am so disappointed that NASA failed to follow-up Apollo with a long-range Lunar program. I can't wait for the day that we once again leave Earth orbit to travel to back to the Moon or Mars. It can't happen soon enough as far as I am concerned. All we lack is the will to do it.
