K-8 Aeronautics Internet Textbook
July 15 and 29; August 5, 12 and 19

The K-8 Aeronautics Internet Textbook (K8AIT) is an online electronic textbook that comprehensively studies the science of aeronautics; it is available in English and Spanish and has also been adapted for deaf students.

Staff from NASA Dryden Research Center will be featured during web chats conducted in Spanish and English.This event is sponsored by the K8AIT project and the Learning Technology Channel.

Lewis Research Center Learning Technologies Project 1998 Regional Summer Professional Development Workshops

NASA Computational Aerosciences (CAS) Workshop 98
August 25-27
NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif.

This workshop brings together NASA's scientists and engineers with their CAS counterparts in industry, other government agencies and academia.

Objectives:

    (1) communicate the goals and objectives of the High-Performance Computing and Communications Program and CAS,

    (2) promote and disseminate CAS technology within the appropriate technical communities, and

    (3) help promote synergy among CAS and other HPCC scientists.
