Mission Statement
To function as a recognized advocacy and support group for the socioeconomic well-being and advancement of African Americans in a non-discriminatory environment at NASA Headquarters. Our goals are to promote equity in all aspects of American life, excellence in public service, and opportunity for all Americans.
Vision Statement
To be an organization that promotes personal and professional development through education, community involvement, networking, and economic development training programs.
Membership Activity
- Monthly chapter meeting occurs at noon on the 4th Wednesday of each month
- Annual coat drive conducted at NASA HQ during the 4th Quarter of the calendar year
- Toys for tots support rendered during National “Toys-for-Tots” campaign
- Support and attend BIG’s annual National Training Conference
- Conduct BIG annual membership drive/ open house
