New HCIE Workforce Services Portal Available

The Office of Human Capital Management, the Integrated Enterprise Management Program, the NASA Shared Services Center and the Headquarters Human Resources Management Division are proud to announce that Headquarters civil service employees now have access to NASA's Human Capital Information Environment (HCIE) Workforce Services Portal.

The Workforce Services Portal centralizes all of your Human Capital information and systems on one Web site, providing a single point of access for policies, benefits, retirement information and much more. You can leave your bookmarks behind -- the HCIE Workforce Services Portal is one stop for Human Capital information and systems.

Key benefits of the HCIE Workforce Services Portal include:

• Access all of the human resources systems from a centralized location using the HCIE Password Manager. The portal lets you visit WebTADS, Thrift Savings Plan, Employee Express, SATERN, Competency Management, Benefeds and other systems directly from the portal without having to re-enter a password.
  
  
• Track your benefits and retirement information directly inside the portal with fund tickers and retirement/benefits calculators.
  
  
• Stay up to date with important center and agency notices about new human resources initiatives, programs and policies.

The Workforce Services Portal is available at https://hcie.nasa.gov. First time users should click the "First Time User?" link under the log-in fields to obtain their NAMS username and password. NAMS is an agency-wide secure system used to manage access to the portal.

To help employees learn more about the Workforce Services Portal, a number of information sessions are being held to demonstrate key portal functionality. You will find the portal a much more rewarding tool if you attend one of these one-hour sessions:

• Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2 - 3 p.m. in MIC 3-A (Room 3H46)
• Thursday, Oct. 11, 10 - 11 a.m. in MIC 3-A (Room 3H46)
