Changing the Time on Computers and Telephones
Daylight Saving Time (DST) begins Sunday, March 11, 2007, at 2 a.m. When you return to your office on Monday, March 12, you should find that your computer and Voice over IP telephone have adjusted to the new time. NASA cell phones, two-way pagers, and Blackberry devices should also automatically adjust to the correct time.
Should you find it necessary to manually adjust the time displayed on your computer or phone, instructions are available in this Word Document. (45 KB)
Due to the changed date for the start of DST from April 1 to March 11, calendar time may be incorrect. An IT Notice entitled "Instructions for Mitigating Daylight Saving Time (DST) Impact to Outlook/Entourage Calendar Events," which addresses this issue, was sent out on February 8 (see http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/codec/codeci/whatsnew/fy2007/02090701.htm).
