Check-In Check-Out (CICO) Goes Live
The NASA Headquarters Check-In Check-Out system (CICO) is now operational. CICO replaces the HQ ODIN New User Request System (HONURS), effective immediately. HONURS is no longer available for use. Active HONURS requests have been transferred to CICO.
CICO is a Web-based application that automates and consolidates the various permissions and service requests necessary to get a new employee settled with a computer, phone, and access to the network and IT systems. It includes space allocation and items routinely handled via a NHQ Form 224. CICO streamlines the processing for incoming employees and will help improve and simplify the out-processing of employees.
All NASA HQ employees now have access to CICO via your domain network name and password. Please note that you must prefix your user name with "HQ\" (e.g., HQ\jsmith). Visit the CICO Web page where you'll find a User's Manual, information about training, and a list of Frequently Asked Questions. You can also access CICO from the HQ Services section of the Inside HQ Web site.
A Situation Room has been established for the first 2 weeks CICO is operational. CICO technical staff will respond to any questions or issues that may arise. If you experience difficulties using CICO prior to May 4, 2007, call the Situation Room at (202) 358-7221 or visit Room 3R55, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to obtain immediate assistance.
