The Microsoft Office 2007 suite is a major overhaul of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.  Office 2007 has a different look-and-feel. There are many new application features and a new user interface called the "Ribbon." Many icons and commands in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook have moved and will work differently in Office 2007.

There are various types of training available to acquaint you with new features and enhancements of Office 2007 as well as the differences between Office 2003 and 2007.  You will be provided with materials during the training to use as a reference guide.

Office 2007 will be deployed in a phased approach beginning in March and ending in June 2009.  There will be six groups of approximately 300 Windows users each with a 2-week deployment window for each group. You will receive a Targeted IT Notice providing detailed instructions as you are scheduled to be upgraded to Office 2007.
