SharePoint sites provide a central repository for documents, information, and ideas, and enable users to work interactively as a team, department, project, or program. SharePoint replaces the need for mapped group drives and replaces e-mail as a data store for attachments. Customers can integrate their Microsoft Outlook calendar, enabling users to synchronize scheduled events in SharePoint with their own personal calendar.
