VOIP Phone System
The phone system at NASA Headquarters uses an advanced technology called Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). VoIP utilizes a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (analog or ISDN) phone line to transfer data between two parties, allowing HQ to realize cost savings and system efficiencies while offering advanced features to users.
Desktop VoIP Phone
In many ways, your desktop VoIP phone operates like any other phone, but it is more sophisticated, and it is connected to the HQ computer network. You can access the advanced features in two ways: directly from your desktop VoIP phone or by visiting the Cisco CallManager Web site. |

VoIP Phone Customization Web Site
Visit the Cisco CallManager Web site to customize your VoIP phone, forward your calls to another location, or access your VoIP phone user guide.
Accessible to NASA HQ Only
