3.1 Economic Processes

Definition: Those activities, actions, and operations that involve the production and sale of goods and services. This includes the extraction of raw materials and natural resources. This framework element serves as a broad placeholder for all economic processes. All subcategories currently emphasize the driving forces that directly act upon an endowment. The SDI Group will eventually expand the definition to include the underlying economic processes that control the driving forces.
