2.1.5 Finished Goods

Definition: Comodities that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. This includes unprocessed foods such as eggs and fresh vegetables, as well as processed foods such as bakery products and meats. This also includes durable goods such as automobiles, household furniture and appliances, and Nondurable goods such as apparel and home heating oil.

2.1.5.1 Finished Chemicals and Allied Products: Chemical products that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.2 Finished Farm Products: Farm products that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.3 Finished Fuels and Related Products and Power: Fuels and power that will Not undergo further processing and is ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.4 Finished Furniture and Household Durables: Furniture and other household items that are used over a long period of time that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.5 Finished Hides, Skins, Leather, and Related Products: Hides, skins and leather products that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.6 Finished Lumber and Wood Products: Lumber and wood products that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. This includes soft and hardwood lumber, plywood and millwork products. 2.1.5.9 Finished Nonmetallic Mineral Products: Products made from Nonmetallic minerals that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.13 Finished Textile Products and Apparel: Woven or machine-knitted fabrics and apparel that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. 2.1.5.14 Finished Transportation Equipment: Equipment used for transportation by air, land or sea that will Not undergo further processing and are ready for sale to the final demand user, either an individual consumer or business firm. This includes products such as passenger cars, buses, trailers, civilian aircraft, ships and boats, and railroad cars. This does Not include mobile homes (see Miscellaneous Finished Products).
