As the Associate Project Manager, Dr. Nowinski supports the daily operation of the Project.

As a research psychologist in the Human System Integration division and Ames Research Center Dr. Nowinski has conducted research on theoretical and practical aspects of memory, in particular as they relate to cockpit and ATC operations. Dr. Nowinski has also served as the Deputy Branch Chief for the Systems Safety Branch at Ames. Currently, in addition to serving as the APM for IIFD she contributes to the software and requirements development in the HCI group. Dr. Nowinski received a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Stanford University.
