The IIFD team partners across a broad spectrum of organizations to
achieve the defined objectives. Leveraging talents and capabilities
across the nation in this way creates a virtual team aligned with a
common vision of improving flight deck system safety and capability.
Opportunities to collaborate as a participant on this team are available
to industry, other government agencies, other projects/programs within
NASA, and academia.
Flight Deck Research Working Group (FDR WG)
NASA's approach to industry partnerships is a shift from near-term
evolutionary procurements to long-term intellectual collaborations. A
Flight Deck Research Working Group (FDR WG) has been established to
provide a venue for the exchange of research findings, discussion of
challenge problems, and facilitation of joint investigations.
