Aviation Safety: Integrated Intelligent Flight Deck Technologies Banner

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Research requirements and resources are distributed to four discipline-based elements of IIFD:

Integrated Intelligent Flight Deck Org Chart, CVI, RAHS, EHD, SDA
Each element is a team of NASA researchers and partner organizations working to achieve one or more of six IIFD Strategic Objectives.

Goal
The long-term goal of IIFD is to advance knowledge by producing tools, methods, principles, guidelines, and technologies for revolutionary adaptive flight deck systems that improve safety. Incremental advances (i.e. research findings) over the term of the project are peer-reviewed and disseminated throughout the community.
