FA Plane Exhibit

FA Plane Exhibit, children reading the oversized book. Image left:FA Plane Exhibit

This oversized story book exhibit follows three children in their visit to NASA Langley to see what makes planes fly. The storyteller, F.A. Plane (a.k.a. Fly A Plane), reviews the history of powered flight, focusing on Langley's numerous achievements and projects that will impact the future of aerospace. F.A., Kim, Nicky and Alex go back in time to learn about early commercial aircraft development as well as explore present technologies that NASA is developing. Finally the group travels into the future to observe where the path of aviation may take us.
