This exhibit highlights the contributions made to aeronautics by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), now the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), during the first century of powered flight. Created as NACA in 1915, NASA has contributed substantially to making air travel safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
