Quiet Aircraft Technology

As airports, terminals and the skies become more crowded, the noise generated by jet aircraft is a major environmental issue. NASA's vision for our transportation system is to develop technologies that will keep objectional aircraft noise contained within airport boundaries. This 10 x 10 x 8 ft. "room" builds sound-baffles around a kiosk. The kiosk simulates different levels of noise as aircraft "fly" overhead.
