FUNDAMENTAL AERONAUTICS - RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

Supporting research in science and technology is an important part of NASA's overall mission. NASA solicits this research through the release of research announcements in a wide range of aeronautics-related disciplines. NASA uses a peer-review process to evaluate and select research proposals submitted in response to these research announcements. Researchers can help NASA achieve national research objectives by submitting research proposals and conducting awarded research.

Please visit the NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES). This site contains the current open solitations in Aeronautics, as well as information on the entire life cycle of NASA research solicitations and awards.

The Fundamental Aeronautics Pre-Proposal Conference entitled, Advanced Concept Studies for Subsonic & Supersonic Commercial Transports Entering Service in the 2030-2035 Period, was held on Thursday, November 29, 2007. Post-conference materials are now available.
