NASA Technology Inventory
The purpose of the NASA Technology Inventory is to document the full scope of NASA's technology investment in order to improve management and communications inside and outside the agency. Each of the 4 NASA Mission Directorates manages a technology development program that is focused to support the objectives of their mission. Other NASA programs contribute technology as well, including the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs (now managed by the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate), the Center Director's Discretionary Program, safety and engineering programs, and educational programs. Collectively, all of the technology activities in NASA amount to about $1.6 billion. The Tech Inventory seeks to capture this spectrum of activities in a common, searchable format. You must be a NASA civil service or JPL employee to register for database access.
