The George M. Low Trophy

Photo of the George M. Low Award Trophy The trophy is awarded in memory of George M. Low who greatly contributed to the early development of NASA Space Programs during his 27 years of Government Service

The medallion that is embedded in the shape of an Apollo Command Module has alloyed in it a portion of an artifact flown to the moon and back on Apollo 11--the first manned lunar landing mission July 16­24, 1969

The George M. Low Finalist Plaque is presented to organizations who reach the plateau of excellence for a site visit by the George M. Low Validation Board, and subsequently do not win the award.
