| Effective risk management, as outlined in the new NASA Procedures and Guidelines (NPG) 7120.5A, is a practical and necessary aspect of program management. In today's environment, we must tailor our risk analysis and mitigation to the specific needs of the program. We should consider resource trading, including risk, to achieve the maximum return on investment.
