Ready to help employees, or applicants for employment, who believe that they have been discriminated against on the bases of race, color, national origin, sex (to include sexual orientation or pregnancy discrimination), parental status, religion, age, retaliation, genetic information, or physical and/or mental disability.

NASA Headquarters employees, or applicants for employment, who believe that they have been discriminated against on the bases of race, color, national origin, sex (to include sexual orientation or pregnancy discrimination), religion, age, retaliation, genetic information, parental status, or physical and/or mental disability must contact a Headquarters Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Counselor within 45 days of the date of the alleged discriminatory act. At the initial interview the EEO Counselor will listen to the issues, clarify the basis of the complaint, inform the individual of his or her rights, and provide information on the options available for seeking resolution, including the use of the Headquarters Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program.  Through the ADR Program, a mediator is used to facilitate discussions between the disputing parties to encourage a mutually acceptable resolution.

Should you wish to contact a Headquarters EEO Counselor or receive additional information on the Headquarters discrimination complaint process and/or ADR Program, please contact the Headquarters Complaints Manager Lashawn McDuffie at (202) 358-0965, or Claudia Silver, ADR Manager at 202-358-0936.
