New Office Lighting
Office Lighting:
The Lutron Lighting system provides each office individually controlled overhead lighting as well as an infra-red sensor. Each private office is equipped with an infra-red sensor that will activate lighting upon entering the office and will automatically turn lights off after 15 minutes after exiting. The dimmer switch is user friendly and can be easily adjusted for personal preference. Each dimmer switch is programmed by office and will only work for the assigned office.
Open Office/Corridor Lighting:
The open office and corridor lighting are continuously lit during core lease hours of 6 am – 6 pm. At 6 pm the overhead lighting will blink for 10 minutes prior to shut off. Override switches are located at the east, center, and west end of the building and must be pressed if this occurs while employees are in the building. Due to LEED requirements the maximum amount of time the lights can stay on after hours is 30 minutes once activation of the override switch occurs.
If at any time employees experience concerns regarding the lighting system, a Facilities Help Desk ticket should be submitted and the floor facility manager and our Occupational Health and Safety manger will conduct readings to be sure lighting is at an acceptable level.
