Work Schedules
Welcome to the Work Schedule site. This site provides essential information on work schedule options available to NASA Headquarters employees. The Headquarters Procedural Requirement (HQPR) 3600.1, Hours of Duty, describes the hours of duty and work schedules available to NASA Headquarters employees. In addition, the document describes the responsibilities, procedures and requirements for establishing and approving work schedules, including reporting requirements in the Web Based Time and Attendance Distribution System (WebTADS).
NEWFlex Pilot for HQ Operations Employees
The Office of Headquarters Operations is conducting a 6-month work schedule pilot (November 1, 2012 – May 31, 2013) known as NEWFlex. NEWFlex is a work schedule that provides employees maximum flexibility to manage workload and balance their work and home life. NEWFlex is optional and subject to supervisory approval.
