The Library is open from Monday-Friday, 7:30 - 5:00, except Federal holidays.
As part of ongoing building renovations, the NASA Headquarters Library will be relocating over the summer into temporary offices. Elements of the collection are being crated up and placed in storage, so some materials may not be available until the relocation is complete and the library reopens. This process will take several months.
The library and Information Center will be closed to outside visitors starting on August 22, 2013. Our online services and this website will continue to be available throughout the relocation. The library can also be reached by phone at (202) 358-0168, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
NASA Headquarters staff and HQ contractors can visit the Library which will contain a limited collection of print materials beginning August 26th in Room 2K70, adjacent to the West elevators. Registered patrons may visit the library to check out materials, renew checkouts, or return materials to the Library.
Once the renovations are completed, the library will reopen at our new location in the East Lobby of the Headquarters building. Please watch this page for updates on our reopening.
The Library reserves the right to deny access to any
visitors who do not follow library policies.
