Multimission Archive
at Space Telescope (MAST) - database of data and
images from Hubble and other astronomical missions maintained
by the Space Telescope Science Institute.
NASA Aeronautics
and Space Database - There are two versions of NASA
ASD: one
is open to everyone on a nasa.gov computer. The other
includes limited documents and requries a password.
Both databases include documents from NASA and related
agencies, meeting papers, journal articles, and videos.
NASA Headquarters employees can contact the Library
or CASI for help in using this database.
NASA CORE (Central Operation
of Resources for Teachers) - NASA CORE is a worldwide
distribution center for NASA multimedia educational
materials. For a nominal fee, CORE will provide educators
with materials through its mail order service. CORE
is jointly sponsored by NASA and the Lorain County Joint
Vocational School in Oberlin, Ohio.
NASA GALAXIE
- NASA GALAXIE is our library catalog. It includes the
collections of most NASA Center libraries. The catalog
indexes books, journals, atlases, conferences, books-on-tape,
video recordings, software, images, and print and electronic
documents. It can only be accessed from a NASA computer.
Limited to NASA employees.
NASA Goddard Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS) - SVS provides a "sampling of the many visualizations and animations developed by the Goddard Scientific Visualization Studio. These products are based on the specific data, missions, and research results deemed important by NASA and are designed to visually explain those results to the public."
NIX (NASA Image eXchange)
- Web-based search engine for simultaneously searching
one or more of NASA's online image and photo collections.
NIX searches databases of over 442,000 NASA images and

of planets; aircraft design, testing and performance;
environmental pollution; lunar and planetary exploration;
and many other categories related to manned and unmanned
space exploration.
Video
Repository, Johnson Space Center - Search by subject
or scene list or browse by series title. Includes ordering
information.
Visualization
of Remote Sensing Data (VRSD) - The visualizations
are derived from satellite data which has been color-enhanced
or otherwise processed to yield high-impact renderings
of hurricanes and other natural phenomena. Because of
this processing, these images should be viewed more
as works of art than as raw data suitable for quantitative
analysis. VRSD is an outgrowth of a past NASA program,
Public Use of Remote Sensing Data (RSD).
