Collective giving through CFC lowers administrative overhead for charities and delivers a steady stream of funds throughout the entire year. These charities depend on your generosity to keep important programs alive.

  COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN

NASA Headquarters Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Program

CFC Logo The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

CFC is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country and internationally to help to raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal, and military donors during the campaign season to support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

CONTRACTOR PARTICIPATION—The CFC is a federal program designed for the federal workforce.   According to our legal office, contractors can participate in activities during the CFC.  For example, if an office has a cake sale or silent auction, it would be open to everyone.   Federal employees “cannot” accept cash, money orders, or any other form of cash from a contractor because it may be perceived as a favor.  Contractors wishing to contribute to an organization must send donations directly to the organization.
