The Remote User Identity tool is a subprocess of the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) processs. This tool is used to request a badge and IT access for a temporary NASA worker (less than 180 days) or a worker who does not require physical access to a NASA facility and who resides more than 50 miles away.
The Remote User Identity tool is accessed through the Identity and Access Management System (IdMAX). To access the Remote User Identity Service, you must have an IdMAX account (see instructions for obtaining an IdMAX account).
