New Employee IT Orientation Training
The Computer Training Center (CTC) conducts New Employee IT Orientation training the first business day (usually Mondays) of every pay period from 1 to 2 p.m.
This orientation workshop is designed to provide new employees at NASA HQ with an understanding of the IT services available, how to obtain them, and where to obtain assistance. Topics covered include commonly used applications, desktop support, sensitive information awareness, IT Security, and appropriate use of resources.
Enrollment
Typically, new employees are enrolled in this orientation class by the Human Resources Management Division. Detailees, temporary employees, contractors, and transferees should contact the receiving organization's IT POC to enroll. You may also contact the CTC at ctc@hq.nasa.gov or 202-358-1111 to enroll.
