Outlook 2010 for Windows: Calendar Gremlins Again?

Course Description: Learn how to rid your calendar of those pesky gremlins!  This Microsoft Outlook workshop will teach calendar management, calendar sharing, scheduling attendees, replying to and saving invitations.  In only 1 hour, you’ll be an Outlook pro!

Course Description: Take charge of your Outlook data and learn how to use tools for archiving, clean-up, advanced search, and more. Understand the ramifications of a “large” mailbox and folders, and learn about PST files.

Course Description: What’s New in Outlook 2010; The Backstage View – File tab; Tabs and Ribbons; Navigation Pane, Quick Access Toolbar, Reading Pane, and To-Do Bar; Working with Outlook options as well as Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes options; Out of office assistant, e-mail signatures and delegates; customizing toolbars and views, sorting, filtering, and using search tools including Search Folders and Advanced Find; creating sub-folders; working with the Calendar preferences, creating appointments, meetings and recurring patterns; working with Contact preferences, creating new contacts, arranging the Address Book, sharing  contacts, and creating a Contact Group; creating tasks and creating a task from a message.

Course Description: Understanding the Outlook screen, panes, menus, toolbars, and ribbon; Working with personal settings and E-mail preferences, Categories, Autocorrect and AutoFormat settings, creating e-mail Signatures, Delegates and Out of Office Assistant; customizing Toolbars and Views, Sorting, Filtering, and using Search tools including Smart Folders and Advanced Search; creating sub-folders; Working with the Calendar preferences, creating Appointments, meetings and Recurring Patterns; working with Contact preferences, ceating new Contacts, arranging the Address Book, sharing Contacts, and creating a Contact Group; creating Tasks and creating a task from a message using the Automator.

REGISTER IN SATERN


Need help locating and registering for classes or workshops in SATERN?  Follow these instructions:

  1. Login to SATERN.
  2. Search for the designated “key words” in the “Search Catalog” box in the upper right corner.
  3. Locate your desired course offering in the list and click “Add to Learning Plan” at the far right.
  4. Your Learning Plan will be displayed.  Again, locate your desired course offering, click on the blue “Offering Details” box to see available sessions.
  5. After a moment, available sessions will appear.  Click the blue “Register” button to the right of a session you wish to attend. 
  6. The Registration screen appears.  Click the gray “Confirm” button in the bottom right corner.
