SoftPhone Training

Notice: Effective May 15, 2015, Cisco SoftPhone will be upgraded to Jabber.

Using your NASA-issued computer and your HQ extension, SoftPhone enables you to place and receive calls from virtually anywhere you have an Internet connection. Learn about the features of SoftPhone and take advantage of this powerful tool.

Individualized training is available by appointment until May 15. Contact the Computer Training Center at ctc@hq.nasa.gov or 202-358-1111 to make arrangements.

REGISTER IN SATERN

Need help locating and registering for classes or workshops in SATERN?  Follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to SATERN.
  2. Search for the designated search term (shown above) in the Catalog box in the upper right corner.
  3. Locate your desired course offering in the list and click Add to Learning Plan at the far right.
  4. Your Learning Plan will be displayed.  Under No Due Date, click on the course title you just added.
  5. Item Details will appear.  Click View Offerings.
  6. Available sessions will appear.  Click the blue Register button to the right of a session you wish to attend.
  7. The Registration screen appears.  Click the yellow Confirm button in the bottom right corner.
