Check-In Check-Out (CICO) Available April 16, 2007
The new Headquarters Check-In Check-Out (CICO) system, which will replace the HQ ODIN New User Request System (HONURS), will be available on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 6 a.m. EST.
Like its predecessor, CICO is a web-based application that automates and consolidates the various permissions and service requests necessary to get a new employee settled with a computer, phone, and access to the network and IT systems. It includes space allocation approval and items routinely handled via an NHQ Form 224. CICO streamlines the processing for incoming employees so that they can be up and running more quickly and efficiently. It will help NASA HQ improve and simplify the out-processing of employees, and maximize recovery of equipment and assets.
Beginning April 16, all NASA Headquarters employees will have access to this web-based application. To use CICO, go to Inside HQ, click on the CICO link at the left, and login with the same user name and password that you use to start your computer.
Two types of training will be available. For IT POCÕs, Administrative Officers, and Move Coordinators, who play a major role during the in and out processing of employees, Hands-On Training is available both pre and post deployment. For those responsible for approving and/or fulfilling requests as well as general users, training is offered in the form of Information Technology Exchange (ITE) briefings and demos. ITE sessions begin April 4 and continue through April 18. Pre-registration is required for the Hands-On Training but is not required to attend an ITE. The schedule of all training sessions offered is posted on the CTC Web site.
IMPORTANT NOTE: HONURS will be retired on Wednesday April 11, 2007, at 6 p.m. EST. Active HONURS requests will be transferred to CICO at that time. CICO will be ready for use on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 6 a.m. EST.
Please be advised that for two workdays, Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13, new requests cannot be initiated or processed. Please make every effort to get your requests into HONURS prior to end of day April 11, so that you do not have to wait until Monday, April 16 to initiate your request.
