PBMA SecureMeeting Service Is Replaced With Secure WebEx
PBMA SecureMeeting Account Holders
July 30, 2009

On September 30, 2009, the Process Based Mission Assurance (PBMA) SecureMeeting service will be decommissioned. NASA is now offering Secure WebEx, a Secure Virtual Team Meeting (SVTM) collaboration tool that allows you to host and participate in online secure virtual meetings. PBMA SecureMeeting users who intend to host meetings after the decommission must order a Secure WebEx seat through Check In Check Out (CICO) by September 23 to avoid loss of service. No action is required of PBMA SecureMeeting participants who do not host meetings.

NOTE: The NASA Safety Center and PBMA Program will continue to offer PBMA Enhanced Security Work Groups (ESWG) for the foreseeable future. Only the PBMA SecureMeeting service is to be discontinued at this time.

How to Get a Secure WebEx Account

To acquire a Secure WebEx account, follow these step-by-step instructions to submit a Check In Check Out request. All WebEx accounts are now secure. If you already have a WebEx account, you do not need to take any action at this time.

The teleconference service, used in conjunction with Secure WebEx, is a separate service. Information about obtaining this service is available on the Voice Teleconference Services Web page. Participants are given a teleconference phone number and passcode in order to join the conference.

Training

Training sessions for Secure WebEx are available to everyone, including users who currently do not have a WebEx account. Descriptions for each session and instructions for registering are available on the HQ Secure WebEx Web page.
