NAMS -- NASA’s New Account Management System

On December 10, the Agency will implement the NASA Account Management System (NAMS) at NASA Headquarters. This new application is the Agency’s centralized system for requesting and maintaining accounts for NASA IT systems and applications.
Initially, Headquarters users will only use NAMS to request access to a few Agency applications. All other requests will be processed through Check In Check Out as usual. A list of the applications managed in NAMS will be posted on the NAMS@HQ Web page beginning December 10. All HQ and Agency applications will be integrated into NAMS in a phased approach over the next year or two. Eventually, access and deactivation requests for all applications will be processed through NAMS.
Beginning December 10, all requests for Integrated Enterprise Management Program (IEMP) applications will be processed in NAMS. The NHQ Form 1700, previously required for IEMP access requests, will only be required for external users without access to NAMS.
NAMS Training Options
Half-hour informational sessions will be available beginning November 20 to help general users get acclimated to this new system and to answer any questions. Please view the training schedule and attend a session convenient for you. Pre-registration is not required. In addition, online training provided by the Agency NAMS team can be accessed from the NAMS@HQ Web page.
NOTE: Supervisors and other users who have unique responsibilities regarding NAMS will receive additional information in a separate notice.
