Remote Access to Agency and HQ Systems
Many NASA applications and Web sites now require you to be connected to the NASA HQ network to gain access. Depending on your computer and the Remote Access Option used, connecting to the network from outside the HQ building may require a SecurID token, which is a portable device with two-factor authentication allowing you to access resources remotely via the Virtual Private Network (VPN) or using Secure Nomadic Access (SNA). Note: For full functionality, it is recommended to use a NASA-issued laptop for remote access.
If your Remote Access Option requires a SecurID token, you may request one by submitting a NAMS request.
