WebEx is an online service that provides Web conferencing, allowing you to host and participate in virtual collaborative meetings. Hosting a WebEx allows you to share your desktop, application, or document through Web conferencing; almost anything you can do in a face-to-face meeting. You can hold Webinars, demonstrate products or processes, conduct online training, or collaborate on projects. Typically this happens in conjunction with a phone call or teleconferencing session, so you have the ability to show and tell.

Features of WebEx Account
- Unlimited minutes
- Unlimited sessions
- Fixed seat (account) price of $61.94 per month
- Authorized for Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) material

Each meeting session is limited to 1000 users. The meeting host will be charged $18.44 per attendee in excess of 200 on a per session basis. The use of conference rooms is recommended for group attendees to keep the cost to a minimum.
Get a Secure WebEx Account (for hosting)
To acquire a WebEx account, you will need to submit a Service Request on the ESD Web site. Follow the steps below:
- Have the following information available when placing your request:
- Intended date of the event
- Start time of the event
- Go to the ESD Web site | Click Order Services | Click Collaboration Service.
- Next to WebEx Host (Virtual Team Service) Account, click Add to Cart, and complete your order.
Once your account has been created, you will receive an e-mail notification from the WebEx Support Team with your username, password, and instructions on how to set up your computer to use the WebEx tool.
Teleconference Service (for hosting)
The teleconference service is a separate service. Information about obtaining this service is available on the NASA Teleconferencing Center Web page. Hosts then provide participants with a teleconference phone number and passcode in order to join the conference.
