Paul A. Iademarco
Executive Director
NASA Advisory Council

Paul A. Iademarco was named Executive Director of the NASA Advisory Council in September 2007. As Executive Director, Mr. Iademarco interacts directly with the Office of the NASA Administrator and is responsible for managing all logistics and subject matter for the Council, which is NASA’s senior advisory body.

Prior to assuming his current duties, Mr. Iademarco came to NASA HQ from the Johnson Space Center. While at HQ he worked as a detailee in the Office of Program Analysis & Evaluation (PA&E). In this capacity, Paul served as a Policy Analyst providing support on matters related to legislative affairs, external review groups and internal communications within PA&E. Mr. Iademarco began his career at NASA in January 1990 as Cooperative Education Student in the Office of Space Flight at NASA Headquarters. Since that time he has fostered a very rewarding career in the International Space Station Program Office, successfully holding a variety of positions as a management analyst and program specialist. Prior to his PA&E detail, Paul served as the Technical Assistant to the Manager, Management Systems Office for Configuration Management and Information Technology. In this capacity he provided project management and technical interface between customers and performing organizations, ensuring quality and cost effective solutions and services were provided.

Mr. Iademarco has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and a B.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Aside from growing up in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Iademarco has spent most of his time living and working in Houston, TX.
