DIRECT MISSION SUPPORT

EMD's Direct Mission Support Team integrates environmental planning and requirements into NASA program and project planning efforts early in formulation. NASA is committed to completing the National Environmental Policy Act process prior to taking any action that could have an adverse environmental impact or limit the choice of reasonable alternatives. NASA is also committed to completing the National Historic Preservation Act consultation process prior to taking action that could affect known or potential historic resources. This Team provides regulatory compliance that directly support NASA missions.
