SATERN is the official site for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) training.
This OSPP PIV website will expire on June 30, 2008, and will not be updated after January 31, 2008.

PIV training consists of six courses on each position in the registration process. The courses detail the position role and responsibility, and we encourage you to complete each one:

1. Overview
2. First Time User
3. Requester
4. Sponsor
5. Authorizer/Investigation Reviewer
6. Enrollment/Issuance Official

Note that all Authorizer/Investigation Reviewers and Enrollment/Issuance Officials must be trained and certified through SATERN.  Please open an account and begin your training there.

Also note that training credit is only tracked and awarded for PIV courses completed through SATERN.  You will not be awarded credit if you take the training on this site.
