The job of the Red Team was to play devil's advocate to the Blue Team in each of the six areas under study. Arnold Aldrich, who headed the Human Space Presence Blue Team, and Michael Griffin, who headed the Moon and Mars Blue Team, soon organized and ran NASA's "Access to Space" Study.
