X-33 Composite Model Tested in NASA Langley's Helium Tunnel

NASA Langley Research Center's Bill Scallion, an aerospace engineer in the Aerothermodynamics Branch, holds a six-inch composite model of the X-33 reusable launch vehicle. Scallion heads up aerodynamic testing for the X-33, and oversaw the wind tunnel tests in Langley's 22-Inch Mach 20 Helium tunnel (seen in the background).
