Photographs from Galileo's flyby of Ganymede
On July 10, NASA released six photographs taken by the Galileo spacecraft during its June 27 encounter with the Jovian satellite Ganymede. Three-quarters the size of Mars, Ganymede is the largest moon in our Solar System. It show evidence of geologic activity and has a surface that is partially water ice.
