STATUS OF PROCUREMENT NOTICES (PN) AND
PROCUREMENT INFORMATION CIRCULARS (PIC)

PURPOSE: To provide a listing of PNs issued since July 28, 1998, and active and canceled PICs.

BACKGROUND: PNs are regulatory documents and are automatically incorporated in the NASA FAR Supplement (NFS). PICs transmit nonregulatory, but frequently mandatory, procurement-related material (see NFS 1801.272). A consolidated listing of PNs and PICs is issued periodically to identify PNs incorporated in the NFS and PICs that have been canceled. PN and PIC distribution is to all individuals and offices on the FAC/NFS mailing list. Extra copies may be reproduced locally.
