NASA's challenge lies in unifying a disparate network of sites to achieve a more consistent look and feel throughout the NASA network. This affinity tool kit has been developed to make it easier for web designers and developers to adopt standard elements from the NASA.gov look and feel. Several websites within the NASA network have already made changes or undergone entire redesigns in order to take on some level of affinity with the NASA portal; these websites are listed here to help inspire you.
You will find that this website contains all of the standard assets you need in order to obtain an affinity with the look and feel of the NASA portal whether it be adding a header or footer or a full redesign. Several assets are available bundled together in zip files as well as individually. A variety of HTML templates are provided for download along with the same style sheets, graphics and JavaScript files used on the portal. Some graphics files are available in editable templates so replicating and editing them for your own site is standardized and easy. Finally, the Portal Style Guide is available as a great resource offering details pertaining to the HTML template, font usage, graphic specifications and more.
