This is the standard footer used on Portal Affinity Websites; one version contains the NASA Site Network bar. The NASA Site Network Bar provides quick access to a variety of NASA's program, center and enterprise websites. The footer is positioned at the bottom of every page with a 10 pixel white border on the left, right and bottom sides.
Where requested, insert the proper names into the template. Optionally, make the names an email "mailto:" link. Links in the footer can be added or removed as needed with the exception of: the linked FirstGov logo, the linked NASA logo, the Freedom of Information Act link and the Privacy Policy link which need to stay.
Each downloadable zip file contains the following assets: HTML
template and the CSS file used in the template. The common graphics
used throughout the templates are hosted on a NASA server. Each
reference to those images in the templates is a link to the image
location on that server. By linking to the images on the server
you can be assured that your affinity
websites always display the
most current file versions. The location and size of these images
won't change; it is safe to use them throughout your websites with
no risk of broken links or distorted sizes.
All common images are available in a downloadable zip file for designers and developers who are more comfortable serving the files locally. Common image files include: NASA logo banner (used in header), "Find it @ NASA" search title, "Go" search button, FirstGov logo, NASA logo (used in footer) and the spacer.gif file used for layout.

RSS Feed for NASA footer
An HTML version of the nasa.gov footer RSS feed is now ready. This was accomplished by transforming the RSS feed into HTML. Using an "iFrame" tag, you can now include it on your affinity web sites, as demonstrated at the bottom of this page. This means that any affinity site that uses this feed will not be required to update the footer when it changes, it is updated automatically.
