Text Only HTML Page Templates and Source Files

The text only templates have been designed with special consideration for users viewing the site with screen readers, very slow connections, limited functionality or with a preference for viewing text only content. Both the standard HTML templates and the text only templates meet strict section 508 compliance standards. The text only templates allow for user-controlled resizing of the body copy and headline text in accordance with accessibility guidelines. The source code provided create fluid web pages that expand to fit the size of the browser window.

Each downloadable zip file contains the following assets: HTML template, JavaScript files, and CSS files. The common graphics used throughout the templates are hosted on a NASA server. Each reference to those images in the templates is a link to the image location on that server. By linking to the images on the server you can be assured that your affinity website always displays the most current file versions. The location and size of these images won't change; it is safe to use them throughout your websites with no risk of broken links or distorted sizes.

All common images are available in a downloadable zip file for designers and developers who are more comfortable serving the files locally. Common image files include: NASA logo banner (used in header), "Find it @ NASA" search title, "Go" search button, FirstGov logo, NASA logo (used in footer) and the spacer.gif file used for layout.
