"For the Soil Scientists"

As part of his planned activities, Buzz Aldrin made this footprint on an undisturbed patch of soil and, then, took a pair of photos for the soil mechanics experts back home.

Perception of vertical relief in anaglyphs can depend on such things as the lateral distance the camera was moved between frames, any difference in the distance from the scene that the two frames were taken, and on overall perceptions of distances in the scene.  In this view, the depth of the bootprint appears to be exaggerated, particularly at the heel.
